From January 1, 2027, the way businesses send invoices is changing. At Numiron, we'll take care of it for you – you'll continue invoicing as you're used to.

What is actually changing

Until now, a PDF or paper invoice has been sufficient. From January 1, 2027, VAT payers will send invoices to Slovak companies electronically—in a unified format that systems will deliver to each other and then automatically read. Paper and PDF in emails are ending. At least for VAT payers.

Does this concern me too?

As a VAT payer → From January 1, 2027, you will have to issue and receive e-invoices.

I am not a VAT payer → From January 1, 2027, you must be able to receive e-invoices. You will issue them from July 1, 2030.

How Numiron can help you

You invoice as before. Numiron invoices on your behalf in the background, sending them to the Peppol system like a digital postman. It also retrieves and delivers your received invoices from the system and uploads them to Numiron. You will no longer have to manually upload received invoices from non-VAT payers.

We take care of security, technical implementation, and legislation for you. Numiron is the only billing system and accounting software in Slovakia that is a member of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors.

Digital Mail Carrier

To ensure that an e-invoice reaches the other party and the data is reported to the Financial Administration, a certified service – the „digital postman“ – is used. Numiron will be your digital postman: it will securely send and receive e-invoices on your behalf. You do not need any additional service.

What awaits us

  • 10.1.2026 — Testing phase, time to prepare.
  • 1/1/2027 — mandatory e-invoicing for VAT payers (domestic B2B).
  • 1.7.2030 — Expansion to all and to foreign invoices.

You won't have to deal with anything at the last minute. We will let you know in time and guide you through the change.

Modern design for a better user experience

Numiron is undergoing a significant visual transformation. The new design of our app brings a more modern look, better readability and clearer operation. Our goal is to make working in Numiron even easier, more intuitive and more enjoyable for you.

New website with clear information

As you may have noticed, we have recently launched a new website. On our site you will now find an overview of all the system features, practical business tips, guides to using Numiron effectively and behind-the-scenes news from our company. The new site has easier navigation, a clear structure and a design that fits in with the modern look of our app.

Numiron on social networks

What's also new is that you can now find us on social media. We want to be closer to you and bring you all the important information in one place. On our Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin profiles, we regularly share news about the system, highlight legislative changes that may affect your business, and add practical tips and tricks on how to make the most of Numiron. You'll also find behind-the-scenes information, stories from our team and inspiration for entrepreneurs.

New app design

In this first phase, we focused on improving the core parts of the app that you use every day. We've changed the font to make reading the data more comfortable and less tiring on the eyes, and we've tweaked the look of the login and registration screens to make them look more modern and cleaner.

New dashboard design

We are happy to announce that the new dashboard design is now live!
It's clearer, more intuitive and allows you to navigate important information faster. This is another step towards making working in Numiron even more convenient and efficient every day.

App available in foreign languages

Another new feature is that the app and the website are now available in the most popular foreign languages. This option will certainly be appreciated by companies that work with foreign partners or have an international team, and will allow them to use Numiron even more effectively.

What we are preparing next

We are already working on further changes that will be phased in over the coming months. We are working on a new look for document lists such as invoices and orders. We will also gradually modernize the other pages of the app to give you a consistent and professional user experience every step of the way.

Jakub does his own personal tax return in Numiron

This has been the case for the past years, but since Jakub started invoicing in Numiron and is connected to his bank, this obligation has been completely simplified for him.

He doesn't stress because the whole tax return and payment will take him a few minutes. Numiron includes a new Tax module with a form for filing personal tax returns.

How does it work?

  1. In Numiron Jakub creates and accounts for all invoices from his business continuously throughout the year - the amount of paid invoices is automatically uploaded to the trade income field, Jacob just ticks that he is claiming flat rate expenses and doesn't have to do anything more
  2. It also keeps a running record of all social and health insurance contributions paid - social security and health insurance paid is automatically uploaded into the relevant fields tax return
  3. If flat-rate expenses are applied, tax records must be kept. One of the annexes is a list of receivables as at 31.12. Numiron automatically uploads the amount of unpaid invoices to the appropriate entry.
  4. If Jakub had other income, for example from employment, rent, capital assets, or any of the other almost 40 types of income, you can easily call them up in Numiron.
  5. Jakub can see in real time what his tax liability is. Since he has an account with Tatra banka, he can see it after processing his tax return pay directly from Numiron to the account of the tax office.
