What is e-invoice and how does it differ from a PDF invoice

An e-invoice is not an invoice that you scan and send by email. It is structured format invoice - a file that the computer understands, so that the other party's system can read and process it on its own, without retyping.
Three things to know
01
Unified format
An e-invoice has a precisely defined format (EN 16931 standard, Peppol BIS format) — the same for everyone, so that systems can understand each other.
02
Delivery
Delivery via network Peppol. The invoice is not sent via email, but travels directly between companies over a secure European network.
03
The Financial Administration also sees the data
When you submit the form, the required information is automatically entered—you don't need to fill in anything else.
